Hopewell launched its 1st Project-Rehabilitation of Inmates and 2 clients - CITAM Church and Assent-(Previously Eldotec). Hopewell also moved online and closed its office.
In response to COVID-19, Hopewell offered its 1st Debriefing Session for Counselors and Low-cost online therapy to clients. In addition, Hopewell created awareness of Mental Health through its 1st Creatives Partnership- Poetry and Spoken Word
Hopewell launched its Non-profit arm - I Support Mental Health Initiative. The project raised Ksh 200,000 through crowdfunding to facilitate 400 hrs of free therapy with a network of 26 professionals across the country.
Hopewell hosted a collaboration social media campaign with Hon.Senator Kasanga
Hopewell reopened its office and was featured by Google in Digital Skills for Africa. The Non-profit arm did its County Circuit in Athi-River and partnered with the USA Embassy for American Corner in Nakuru.
Hopewell received a grant from HerMeNow Accelerator to develop Sema, a mental health tech platform Hopewell also received equity funding from Ennovate Ventures to scale Sema into a web app.
The non-profit arm evolved into Savannah Foundation and was awarded a grant from UNICEF to run the Sema Dada project.
To create awareness of mental health, Hopewell hosted monthly Continuous Professional Development sessions for mental health professionals. Hopewell partnered with Andy Speaks on Autism, the Standing Committee For Mental Health under the Medical Students Association of Kenya, and Wylde International for entrepreneurs.
